"Fair workshop and good experience. It was my first workshop, looking forward to develop a wireless robot." , quoted a student after the workshop. Techspace Society of USICT under realm of the cascade of events they organize frequently organized a workshop under the Electrotech club. The workshop outlined the technical know-how of working of water level indicators, remote controlled robotic cars and the intricacies involved in the working of a microcontroller to the students.

The workshop was designed for the IT and ECE students of the department, venturing into the knowledge about the basic principle of circuitry. The workshop was co-ordinated by the third year’s of the department ensuring the proper management and co-ordination of the students. They also monitored the teams in the activity of designing the robot, making presentation of each component clear to the students. "The cooperative teachers took the pain to help us in understanding the concept.”, said a happy face after the team event.

Being the success it was, people have high aspirations from the society and look forward to many such events in near future. Teachers were also highly forward about it and put forward the concept of Robotic Tournament in USICT happening soon.

A great endeavor that the department witnessed was a good and successful initiative for preparing students for the technical fest in the campus and around colleges. Looking at the great response, the Electrotech club is planning on organizing summer training for the first year’s in Robotics, under the guidance of senior students.
